Identity. Sema is a GLP-1 receptor agonist analogue of human GLP-1(7-37) with Aib at position 8, Arg at position 34, and a fatty-diacid chain on Lys26. In research. Lau et al. (Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2015, PMID 26308095) describe the analogue's albumin affinity and resistance to DPP-4 cleavage in receptor-binding and in-vitro work.
