Identity. KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide of alpha-MSH (Lys-Pro-Val). In research (medical). alpha-MSH fragment literature links KPV to anti-inflammatory pathway readouts in gut and skin models, often with less pigmenting activity than longer melanocortins.
